Installing Syntheses

To provide a true distributed and multi-infrastructure Hyperledger Fabric Network without a middleman, Syntheses created a downloadable executable that can be installed in your own infrastructure, be that any cloud provider, your own cloud or on-premises.

The ability to have your network running in your infrastructure of choice gives you better control and, most importantly, data privacy.

It’s important to remember that every single member of the network can choose a different infrastructure strategy, and Syntheses will seamlessly connect them all.

Minimum Requirements

  • Virtual Machine: 2vCPU, 4GB Memory, 10GB HD

  • Operating System: Ubuntu 16.04 and up, Red Hat Linux, CentOS, Suse Linux, or Debian

  1. After registering and purchasing your plan, go to Dashboard, then Solutions.

  2. Choose your plan (if more than one).

  3. Download Syntheses client (Zip file) to a location of your preference.

  4. Create a VM with minimum requirements and follow instructions to configure your cloud environment for the Hyperledger Fabric and Kubernetes installation.

  5. Unzip and upload uncompressed files to your VM.

  6. Install Syntheses in your VM.

Keep in mind that Syntheses will deploy Hyperledger Fabric in the same infrastructure it is installed. Therefore, if you chose an AWS account to install Syntheses, your Hyperledger Fabric will also be installed on the same AWS account.
